About our program |
|
Weekdays Within The Ark is a quality,
Christian childcare program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers;
available to Northside members and to our community. Drop-in care by
reservation only is available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Our Children's Ministries caregivers view their
positions as a ministry. Each caregiver must pass reference and background
check requirements; and caregiver training is updated periodically
throughout the year. The caregivers are supervised by a dedicated ministry
staff, who are always striving to provide a positive experience for you
and your children.
While we do not provide a curriculum or work toward
specific educational goals, we do offer well-rounded and
developmentally-appropriate experiences for children; incorporating
movement, music, books, art expression and gross and fine motor play
opportunities into their time with us.

Registration |
|
To register for Weekdays Within The
Ark, parents must complete a registration form for each child, and
submit an annual registration fee of $30 for the first child and $10 for
each sibling. Also, parents must provide current Child Care Immunization
Certificates for each child to be kept on file at Northside UMC. These
should be available at your pediatrician’s office. Completion of these
registration requirements is mandatory before children can participate in
the program. |

Reservations |
|
In order to provide quality care,
appropriate staff/child ratios must be maintained in each classroom.
Therefore, reservations are required, and limited spaces are available
each day.
To make a reservation, call
678-298-6324 to speak to
Jana Parks or Marie Bateman.
All messages left on voice mail will be
returned, but parents must speak with office personnel to confirm
availability. Reservations can not be left on voice mail.
Please call for morning-of inquiries at 8 am to speak with Jana or Marie.
NO drop-ins without confirmed reservations will be accepted.

All payments are due upon arrival daily.
Payments will not be accepted during pick-up time. For your convenience,
you may also choose to pay weekly or monthly. Parents may choose to
pay in cash or check. If a check is returned due to NSF, a fee of
$20 is charged to your next visit.
Cancellations: If you cancel your
reservation within 24 hours prior to the day you are scheduled, between
our office hours of 8 am and 2 pm, Monday through Friday, you will not be
charged a cancellation fee. Cancellations made any time after, will
be charged a cancellation fee of $18.
